I discovered the coolest feature ever today. If you’ve ever experienced the Exposè window selector on a Mac, you probably loved it. In a nutshell, with the stroke of a key (or in my case, by pressing down on the mouse’s scroll wheel) it quickly displays all the open windows and allows you to select any of them in a second. Much faster and more visual than Alt Tab, better than the hover views that are available in Vista and Windows 7 when you mouse over the tabs in the taskbar. Anyway – SWITCHER! Light Painting: Flashlights and Long Exposures
I’ve experimented with light painting before but after seeing a recent collection of light paintings, I thought I’d take the kids down to the deep dark basement and give it a try again. We had lots of fun but the girls quickly grew bored with it and went upstairs. Anders and I stayed downstairs and he seemed to just love it. Here are a couple of the favorites.

At Photoshop World I saw that one of the winners of the Guru Awards did a great looking shot (set of shots, actually) of a burning match that looked really cool. I decided one afternoon to try this myself. My results weren’t worth of the Guru Award but it was fun to try.
Photoshop World 2009, Baby!
It happened. My long time dream of attending Photoshop World became a reality last week. I spent a very educational three days in sunny and sin filled Las Vegas attending the conference. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I learned tons of new tricks and filled up the creative tanks. Here are some of the highlights. Corey Barker’s classes kicked butt.
